Giorgio Tedde, born 26th August 1958 in Cagliari (Sardinia), studied Physics, Composition and Electronic Music. He expresses his scientific background in music through a special consideration of the acoustic and tonal features of the sound, and by the research of new chances in the performances by new musical notations. For this, up to now he has got many prizes and acknowledgments with compositions mainly based in timber inquiring.
He is interested to psycho-acoustic and musical listening processes too, and he has exposed his ideas on this matter in several international conferences.
Big interpreters and very important contemporary music ensembles have performed his music, sometimes dedicated to them, at the most important music festivals in Europe Asia and America.
His music have been recorded and broadcast by national radios and some works has been edited and recorded on compact-disc.
He teaches Composition and Acoustic in Italian and Swiss universities of Music.
