Stefan Litwin, born in Mexico City in 1960, studied piano, composition, and interpretation with Christoph Keller, Jürg Wyttenbach, Herbert Brün, Walter Levin and Charles Rosen. International concert activity with orchestras, conductors, chamber music partners and singers. Litwin‘s compositional work includes music theaters, works for orchestra and ensembles, chamber and vocal music, as well as pieces for piano. A professor at the Saar University of Music since 1992, he was also George C. Kennedy Distinguished Professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2008 to 2024.
