Christian Diemer studied composition with Norbert Fröhlich and Michael Obst in Trossingen and Weimar, as well as musicology, literature, and cultural management. He earned his doctorate with a dissertation on traditional music and national identity in Ukraine. In 2017, his opera "Bonnie and Clyde" premiered at the Nordhausen Theatre. He was the managing director of the online magazine Europe & Me and is an alumnus of the German National Academic Foundation. Since 2019, he is working in the cultural career track at the Goethe-Institut.
